SMS Terms & Conditions

Who we are

TeleSafeguard places daily check-in phone calls to enrolled older adults and notifies a designated family member about the outcome.

What messages you will receive

If you enroll a family member, we send text messages to the mobile number you provide when:

These are transactional alerts about your own account. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

How you opt in

You opt in through the web form on this site when you create an account and enroll a family member. During signup you provide your mobile number and affirm that you have the authority and consent to enroll that person and to receive alerts about them. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.

Message frequency

Frequency varies and depends on your family member’s check-in calls. Most accounts receive alerts only occasionally. Message and data rates may apply.

How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any message to stop all further text messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or email support@telesafeguard.com.

Stopping text messages does not cancel your subscription and does not stop the check-in calls. It does mean you will no longer receive urgent alerts by text, including alerts that we could not reach your family member.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed, and you should not rely on text alerts as your only means of knowing your family member is well.

This is not an emergency service

TeleSafeguard is not a medical alert system, a monitoring service, or an emergency response service. We do not contact emergency services on your behalf. If you believe someone is in danger, call 911 or your local emergency number.

Privacy

We do not sell or share your mobile number or the contents of your alerts with third parties for their marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
